NALUG put on another fantastic display at the Saskatoon Model Railroad Show this year. Trains, town buildings and automobiles played a prominent role (it is a train show after all), but this years layout also featured a some custom amusement park rides! While they didn't work for the entire show - Michelle is still working out the kinks - they were a hit with all of the attendees. Our NALUG members also had a great time hanging out with and meeting the other train clubs in attendance, including our fellow LEGO fans from Saskatchewan.

This yearly event took place at NAIT, and NALUG had a small display. Since FLL is a LEGO Mindstorms robotics competition, our display focused on robots and other such contraptions. Some of members specialize in Mindstorms (robots) and Technic (machines and vehicles with detailed parts). Blaine brought his usual robots based on three generations of LEGO programmable bricks: EV3, NXT, and RCX. He also exhibited his new Robo-Maze game.
